Thanks Joe! I just got the Cilo home and I can't wait to get out and ride tomorrow. Looking over it again at home I am still impressed by the shape the bike is in--and the TLC you've given it!
Good luck with the rest of the bikes!

Hey I've got a 1964 Sears Flightliner in pretty good condition. It is in ride able condition and all original. the paint is a little dinged and chipped but still has the original pinstriping. How much is it worth?

Hi Frank. Go to classicrendevous.com. They should be able to help you. I don't do appraisals/estimates on anything but road bikes. Thanks!

I found Joe's website on craigslist, and am happy I did. He is very knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and was patient with all of my questions. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a well-restored bicycle. I am new to the world of road bikes, and am grateful for all of Joe's advice and, not to forget, my new bike! If you are looking in the Charlotte area [and beyond], this is the guy to go to! Thanks Joe.

I would highly recommend Joe if you're looking for vintage road bikes! I'm new to road cycling, and was looking for a nice second-hand bike to get started. I found Joe's site on craigslist, and I gave him a call to check out what he had available. He met with me and helped find a bike that was the right size, and then let me take it out for a quick ride to make sure everything felt right. Once I decided to get the bike, he took the extra time to put on new tires, readjust everything--making sure it was all in working order--and greasing up the chain. Even though the bike I picked hadn't been restored yet, he still put in the time to make sure it left in working order. He is very knowledgable, and took the time to give me some great advice. I've been out every day with the bike since purchasing it, and it rides great! Thanks for all your help Joe!

Just bought a great little bike from Joe. The site was up to date and he has a great collection of bikes for even better prices. He makes sure you fit the bike and it rides well before selling it to you. He has great advice and is right around the corner from us so we will definitely be back if we ever need another bike!

I just bought a bike from Joe last week. I am pretty girly, so I was looking for a nice-looking vintage roadbike to get me started riding faster than I can on my city bike. I called Joe and told him what I was looking for. He said he had just the thing, so I went over and found this beautiful old coral-colored bike that was so fast and fun to ride! The price was great, the bike is in great shape, and he was very helpful, even to the point of swapping out the saddle for another one that he had that fit me better.

Sorry I overlooked this question. The Shogun marque bikes were good to great bikes, depending on the model. Would need pics to really give you an idea of value. Condition and components are key.
